Using electrodes, a body skin analysis device sends a safe alternating current through the body to measure bioelectrical “impedance”, which can be used to calculate body composition results such as body water, fat, muscle, and more. The body analyzer can quickly measure fat mass, muscle mass, and body water. It is auto-calibrated, user-friendly, and non-invasive, and testing is fast and easy.

Body composition analysis is the assessment of the proportion of fat to fat-free mass in your body. Even though it’s important for the health of all individuals to have an understanding of their body mass index, it is especially important for athletes to monitor their body composition.

The body analysis machine has been found to be 99% as accurate as a DEXA (Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) scan. So be confident with this device. One major benefit of the Body analyzer over a DEXA scan is that patients do not need to be subjected to any radiation.

Those person who has an implantable electrical device such as Pacemaker, Defibrillator, Nerve Stimulator, or women within the first twelve weeks of pregnancy is recommended not to use the device.

Take it easy as this is a safe and health treatment
Stop eating for 3-4 hours before testing
Stop exercising for 6-12 hours before testing
Ensure access to both feet with removable footwear and socks
Stop drinking caffeine on the day of your test and be well hydrated
Stop shower or sauna immediately prior to test
Avoid putting lotion on hands and feet before testing
Individuals with pacemakers or other electronic devices should not use the InBody
For women, avoid testing if you are pregnant or menstruating

Make sure that you drink 1-2 cups of water 2-3 hours before testing. TEST BEFORE WORKING OUT AND ON AN EMPTY STOMACH: Exercise may dehydrate you, affecting test results. Always test before you exercise. Testing on an empty stomach is optimal but not always convenient.
