With different assembling parts, IPL handpiece can be SHR handpieces (with fixed filters 650nm-950nm), OPT handpieces, E-light handpiece(IPL + RF).

Unlike lasers, IPL is a wide spectrum and the wavelength is from 400nm to 1200nm. It works by progressively reducing the re-growth of hair by applying gentle pulses of light to heat to the hair root (hair follicle).
